Lego Dimensions may be getting on a bit these days but the series continues to get new content - Wave 9 is arriving soon - and you may well be tempted to dip a toe into the franchise if you haven't done so already.
The good news is that it's now cheaper than ever to get involved thanks to some generous price cuts at the official Lego online store.
You can pick up the Wii U starter pack - which contains the main game and the all-important portal - for £22.50 (RRP: £89.99) at the time of writing, while many of the playsets and character packs are selling for as little as £3.75 (these are UK prices, needless to say).
Stock is shifting fast so these won't hang around for long. Let us know if these deals have tempted you to join the Lego Dimensions party, or if you've been able to plug gaps in your collection.
Now if only we could get the game on Switch...

got late everything is out of stock now
It's too late for Switch. Maybe the sequel, if there is one.
I have Lego dimensions and in year one wave 2 i bought pretty much everything. It's all broken now so I don't play it or buy more.
I'll still pick up an occasional amiibo, but the toys-to-life fad is largely over, especially for me. I don't even want to think about how much money I blew on Disney Infinity...
That is tempting. Must resist!

As I'm typing this, you can buy the Starter Wii Pack and figures. Clearly you have not checked.
@RadioShadow I clarified my comment before your post. And I already knew of this deal, it was posted on HotUKDeals a few hours ago.

Even for £22.50 I'd rather buy a decent Lego set, or a decent game...
I wouldn't mind getting a couple of them at a reduced price even without the game...I just really like some of the minifigs like the powerpuff girls in particular.
Peasants! It's "LEGO!"
@damo "wave 9 is arriving soon"
They released here this past Tuesday, you guys on a delayed schedule?
@RadioShadow Clearly you should understand before responding, the starter I already have, I was interested in the DEALS, the figures are NORMAL PRICE just the 3.75 are on discount and those are over, everything else is as I said NORMAL PRICE

All you posted was this
"got late - everything is out of stock now"
Everything means ALL OF IT! So that just confused me when that isn't the case. >_<

MAKE SENSE DUDE? I'm surrounded by fools!
Good point. I'm actually kind of surprised that the developers haven't thought of making a Switch version of the game. Seriously, what's taking so long?
@ShockFire10
If the Switch had launched during year one it would have made sense, but the second is over and there is no indication we are getting another, it's not going to happen.
I like that picture, ha ha.
@chardir What's not good about Lego Dimensions? It's actually one of my favorite games of the past ten years. I didn't think I would like it that much.I got into it because I love legos. I was surprised how much there was to do in it. I admit some of the worlds are tedious to complete 100%, and that takes a lot of fun out of those worlds, but all in all it is one of my favorites. My girlfriend even plays it with me and she doesn't like games.
Just curious what it is about it that you don't like.
My oldest son bought it when it first released for the Wii U. He picked up about 70% of the kits the first year. After he beat the basic story line, he kind of gave up on the game. He will occasionally still pick up some of the kits just for the mini figures. He bought the Sonic and Gremlins kits for this reason alone.
Lego Marvel is as far as i'll dip my toe that you very much.
